Source attribution policy
What we take from approved sources, how we credit them, and how publishers can object.

Approved sources only
We summarise items only from publications an editor has explicitly approved and listed on our sources page. Adding a source is a deliberate editorial decision, never automatic.
What we use
From each feed item we use the headline, the publication date, the author name where provided, the link, and the short description the publisher includes in its own feed. We do not fetch or scrape article pages, bypass paywalls, or reproduce full articles. Images are not imported unless the publisher's licence explicitly permits it; otherwise we use our own illustrations.
How we credit
Each summary states the publisher's name at the top, links to the original article in at least two places, and explains how the summary was produced. Structured data marks the original article as the basis of the summary.
Objections
Publishers who prefer not to be summarised can ask for removal through the takedown process. We remove the affected items and disable the source promptly.
